"Our mural is about our mother and her connection to Kalgoorlie. It represents her as a whole and her 13 children. The Kulgurlas are exposed revealing the inside of the fruit and represents how much we have flourished since she passed away and how proud she would be of us.”
Lundy is a Wongutha, Ngadju and Mirning woman who has been painting and creating for many years. She enjoys teaching others and has helped with many community events such as Australia Day and YouthFest. Lundy is an Aboriginal & Islander Education Officer at a local school and enjoys sharing her creative endeavours. Lundy painted this mural with the assistance of her creative sister Pauline Bonney and daughter Alicia Thompson.
